artRAVE

Saturday was so amazing. I went to the artRAVE with amazing friends - we partied so much! We had amazing spots, even though we ended up going into the arena at like 19 (We chose to see Gaga at the airport, rather than keep our spot as #1 & #2 in line). We saw Gaga at the airport, but she landed at 18.15, so she was so busy she didn't stop for us. AFTER the show however, we saw Gaga and her family in the terminal at the airport, and we ran to the gates and she came to talk to us. She looked me in the eye, held my hand and told me she loved me (she told all of us she loved us - we were only 8 fans there) and she signed my picture from when I was backstage in 2012, asking for my name to sign on it, and apologizing for the pen not working very well. She was such a sweetheart!! I want to go back already!

Long time no see, blog! The past week I had vacation, and one of the days was spent at Grøn Koncert in Esbjerg, with my DSLR around my neck and an orange wristband saying "media" on it! I got to get a feel of the life as a journalist, and the feeling of getting to go in front of the stage to take pictures and just seeing all the screaming audience the way the musician does it, made me realize that this job, really is my dream job. Thank you Frikvarter, for giving me this amazing oportunity and giving me the experiences. Just a mix of some of the pics I took on Thursday. Pictured is Lukas Graham, Mads Langer, Medina, a cool part of KATO's show and of course the audience.

Lady Gaga in Oslo, Norway

I just realized I never really actually wrote & showed you pictures from when Linda & I went to Oslo to go to Lady Gaga's Born This Way ball back in december 2012, and of course I need to tell and show you all about that! We took the ferry to Oslo, which for me was a bit weird - I hadn't been on a ferry for YEARS! We arrived to Oslo after about 9 hours on a ferry, and went directly to Telenor Arena, where we put up a tent - ready to camp in line in under -16 degrees celcius! Coldest night ever!

Koldeste nat nogensinde!

The day after we were moved to the Monster Pit line, which in the beginning was outside - Fortunately, the security found it way too cold for us all to stay outside, so they moved us all inside for the rest of the day! YAY! The concert was great (except for the fact that I hadn't been eating or drinking all day - except for a few Prince crackers, which caused me to pass out just as The Darkness started their set. Red Cross folks were VERY nice though, and all the fans around me let me have my spot back on 2nd row!). We did bring something very awesome to throw on stage - and it did land on stage, but unfortunately Gaga didn't pick it up.. But still, Gaga's concerts are always amazing and her stage show is fabulous!

The day after the concert, we went to Gaga's hotel to wait for her to come out. We had missed her the evening before, simply because we were freezing and the car was freezing and we decided to get some heat before going to check out some places in Oslo. We stood outside her hotel for at least 5-6 hours, where we got to meet DJ White Shadow & Lady Starlight. Gaga drove out in the afternoon, but unfortunately didn't come out of the car.

Later in the evening, we had to catch a ferry home. It's funny - we were actually sat in a restaurant/sportsbar on the ferry as first they played a Tokio Hotel song & then a Gaga song! Besides that, we had a room on the ferry on the way home, so we could sleep almost all of the way! Such a short ferry trip! It was a super great trip though - even if it was really insanely cold in Oslo! :)
