Liquorice Ice Cream

I love basically everything liquorice, so this recipe was just perfect for me. This icecream is absolutely delicious, and the homemade salty liquorice syrup just puts this icecream to a whole new level. So yummy! If you love liquorice as much as I do, you definitely need to try this recipe. 

Jeg elsker sådan set alt det har med lakrids at gøre, så denne opskrift var absolut perfekt til mig. Denne is er simpelthen så lækker og den hjemmelavede saltede lakridssirup er helt sikkert prikken over i'et. Mums! Hvis du elsker lakrids ligeså meget som mig, så bør du helt sikkert prøve denne opskrift.

Ice cream recipe/Is opskrift:
- 3,5 dl boiling water/kogende vand
- 4 tbsp liquorice powder/lakridspulver 
- 1 can condensed milk/1 dåse kondenseret mælk
- 2,5 dl cream/fløde 

Dissolve the liquorice powder in the boiling water and whisk in the condensed milk and the cream. Put the mixture in the fridge for a few hours until it's completely cold, and then add it to the ice cream maker for about 40-50 minutes. Put in the freezer after. (I added the liquoricesyrup in layers between the ice cream before putting in the freezer). 

Opløs lakridspulveret i det kogende vand og pisk dernæst den kondenserede mælk og fløden i. Sæt blandingen i køleskabet i et par timer indtil den er helt kold, og kom derefter blandingen i ismaskinen i ca 40-50 minutter. Put dernæst isen i fryseren. (Jeg tilføjede lakridssiruppen i lag imellem isen inden jeg kom den i fryseren).

Liquorice syrup recipe/Lakridssirup opskrift: 
- 85g salty liquorice (Piratos)/saltede lakridser (Piratos)
- 2 dl water/vand

Boil the water in a cooking pot. When it's boiling, add the liquorice and melt them into the water. Let it cook for about 30 minutes and remember to stir almost all the time, and then you should have yourself a nice liquorice syrup! Easy! 

Kog vandet i en gryde. Når vandet koger, så tilføj piratos og smelt dem i vandet (Brug gerne piskeris til dette). Lad det stå og simre i en halv times tid. Husk dog at røre rundt næsten konstant. Dernæst skulle du gerne have en lækker saltet lakridssirup! Nemt!
